KaynatWorks tools provide informational estimates. They are not professional financial, legal, tax, investment or other professional advice, and do not provide personalized recommendations or create a professional advisory relationship.

Verify important decisions

Results depend on the information you enter and the model’s assumptions. Check your inputs, independently verify results and consult qualified professionals or your service providers where appropriate before making important decisions. Errors or differences from real-world outcomes are possible.

Mortgage planner limitations

The planner models fully amortizing, monthly fixed-rate mortgages in US dollars, with principal and interest only. It does not support adjustable-rate, interest-only or balloon loans. Each payment period uses one full month of interest, rather than daily accrual, and money is rounded to cents.

Estimates exclude escrow, taxes, insurance, fees, penalties and tax effects. Recasting depends on your servicer’s eligibility rules, minimum principal reduction, processing time and fees. Confirm how extra payments are applied and request an official payoff quote before acting.
